We want to gain your trust with our technically perfect solutions, embedded in great customer service that is more than just a catchword. This philosophy is lived and implemented at SBS by highly skilled engineers and technicians, from the development phase to installation to the final handover.

Teamwork is at the core of all of our activities. We realise our aim to always provide optimum services for our customers through the effective cooperation of all departments under the leadership of experienced project managers.

Cooperation

A pool of experts under one roof.

We stand out from the crowd by drawing on the extensive manufacturing and workshop capacities of our Dresden headquarters.

SBS Metalltechnik manufactures large-volume mechanical engineering and plant components on contract. This means that we can offer you the security you need for a project that may require complex machine assemblies and parts.

A strong partner at your side.

As a project-oriented engineering company, we offer you a complete spectrum of technical solutions for cultural venues and assembly rooms.

SBS received its first order for theatre stage technology 130 years ago. Since then we have been developing and building the perfect stage machinery to meet your individual requirements – from standard assemblies to customised solutions.

Commitment

Because home is where the heart is.

Ever since its foundation in 1874, SBS has committed itself to helping the wider community and upholding social values, from repair work in the aftermath of WWII to flood relief and special benefits for its own employees. In keeping with this tradition, the company is still involved in numerous charitable ventures, initiatives and societies.

A history of pioneering achievements.

Foundation

1874

Master blacksmiths Dittrich Conrad Kelle and Adolf Hermann Hildebrandt open a forge workshop in Dresden. In the course of the 20th century, the workshop develops into a renowned specialist for steel and metal construction.

The company helps build large steel structures, radio towers, bridges and roofs, such as the 173-tonne main roof of Dresden’s Kreuzkirche church.
